Default Michael Killed for nothing. (the boys are key)

I think that Michael has killed in a misguided effort to help his son. He may think that he is going to free him. Or he may have "gone over" to the "Other" side.

It does not matter because my theory is that Walt and and Claire's son Aaron are the main focus of the others. With the powers that Walt has shown, and the effort of Ethan to get Aaron there is no doubt about it.

Also remember all the things that "mind reader" from Australia said about, "having to be on THAT flight."

The Others want all of the children, but Walt and Aaron figure in their plans big time.

Man, that was the shocker of the season, I don't know why the heck michael went postal! But I do have a theory, notice the regret that he was showing when he did it. I think he was following orders from the others (maybe he IS trying to save walt). But then again why would he want to storm the others camp if he is working with them? This truly has me baffled.

Michael is defintely working for the others. He killed Libby and Ana to free Henry. Obviously he is doing this because he has turned or he has been given an ultimatum to get his son back. The hanger here is how long will it take the losties to figure out that he did it? And when they do find out......what do they do to Michael?

It kinda looked like Michael wasn't being brainwashed, he seemed to show regret and surprise when he shot the ladies and himself. I think he's either acting under orders or his body is out of his control. Maybe Walt is bad now and they are using his mind to control Michael?

Either way, he deserves to be executed now for what he did.

I think michael followed the others orders which was to free henry whatever the cost and at the very end he shot he arm to tell jack that henry got anas gun and shot them all. I also think that henry told locke his mission was to get to locke just to mess with his mind and kinda freak him out

Here's my theory on Michael's actions: He killed Ana and Libby, shot himself, and is going to frame Henry for it. That way it'll make Henry look even worse. It will get all of the Losties to go out to the Others' camp in a fit of rage because Henry killed more of their people.
I think he had just planned on killing AL. I don't believe he had it planned for a long time, it was probably spur-of-the-moment. But I think killing Libby was an accident. He shot at her out of fear that someone was seeing him do the dirty deed when he was attempting to frame HH for it.
That's just what I think...

It seems to me that Michael is/was being controlled by someone or something. I think it's beyond mind control... I think someone has possessed body and Michael is no more. Maybe Alvar Hanso himself?

Either way, Michael has made it look like Henry Gale shot everyone so Henry could escape. The only reason he shot himself is so he could stay with the camp... otherwise he and Henry would have both bolted out of there and he could have gotten Walt back as his reward. The only reason he has for staying in the camp is to infiltrate it, to spy on the Losties and work for the Others.

I also don't believe the Others are lightly armed and living in tents. I think that's a trap, because the Others, when not wearing costumes, are too well groomed to not be living in a hatch of their own full-time.

Hypothesis? "Michael" is dead, and another person is inhabiting his body. "Michael" will lead a "revolt" where either a bunch of Losties die, or the "battle" will be a diversion and nothing serious will happen, but the Losties will think they scored a victory. If the 2nd scenario holds true, they will "capture" another hatch, but they will actually be participating in another experiment (now a 3-hatch experiment, instead of 2). The 3rd hatch will be more advanced than than the 1st 2 (remember how basic the Tailies hatch was?) and will have an exercise of its own (not button pushing, but still a task) and the Others will remain safe in hiding, with the Losties thinking they've conquered them.

Meahwhile, is Jack's dad Alvar Hanso? His coffin was empty, and his daughter is likely on the island. Probably not Claire, but another girl we haven't met yet... or... Libby?
