Benjamin "Ben" Linus

Benjamin "Ben" Linus is the leader of the Others on the Island. Ben arrived on the Island as a child, brought by his father Roger to work for the DHARMA Initiative. Ben takes orders from Jacob, and is the only person who visits and speaks with him. Ben's apparent goal is to keep the Island and its special properties secret from the outside world, and he goes to great lengths to achieve this.

LOL I do most of it at work getting paid.. Hahaha... I just meant I would post it when I got to work Monday since the site was going to be down til then =) I'll do it ovet the weekend... I love researching Lost!!

Even though the answering machine is a fairly new invention it actually goes back to something that was created way back in 1898.
However it wasn't until 1935 that we got the first automatic answering machine which was invented by Mr. Willy Muller. The first unmanned moon landing was in 1959, the first manned landing 1969.
The Earth's circumference was first determined around 240 BCE by Eratosthenes. Magellan circumnavigated the globe in the early 1500s.

The only point I was trying to get across is that things that seem like science fiction now could be possible in the future... Do we ever really know how much technology and that will discover over the course of time..
