Who is the Real Henry Gale???

The African American man that Sayid, Anna, and Charlie found in the photo ID. Who the hell is that?! And why did he fly in on a balloon? Do you think we will get more information on his story. Because for some strange reason he is going to have to do with some big plot point.

I think it would be a bit hard to get information from the real Henry seeing as how he is dead.

My theory: Henry Gale was traveling around the world in a balloon when he crashed on the island. He meets Hoax Henry (who works for Dharma) and they become 'friends'. H.H. learns his whole story, and thinks it would make a good one for him to use. Henry gets sick and dies (but was the sickness introduced to him or did he casually catch something?). H.H. buries him and adopts Henry's story as his own, saying that he was Henry Gale and he and his wife were traveling in balloon, she got sick, so he buried her ('her' actually being Henry Gale).

I'm not sure if that makes any sense at all, but I have problems conveying my thoughts to words, so bear with me.
