ethan not dead?

right before ethan is being buried, when he lies on the ground dressed in a blue bag, there's a camera shot from the ground. you can see his hand in a close shot, but the interesting thing is that you for a few seconds can see that he is still breathing. that must have been shown on purpose, or else they would have cut that mistake away, right?

Theres alot of errors in movies and tv shows.. i remember seeing loads of flaws in the 40 million dollar movie titanic when it first came out..

but who knows..

I´m not sure, but I think Ethan is alive, 'cause I´ve seen a picture that shows Ethan fighting with Locke and I can´t remember a fight between them... Or this pic is from a cutted scene !?! But that's not the only reason, why I think he's alive. Ethan has such an enourmes power, that I can't imagine he can be killed so "easy" ( I know, a few shots from a gun are not really easy, but anyway...) And also there are so many unansewered questions about him. But maybe these questions will be answered in season two, in an other way. ( In Germany we're still at season 1

I hope Ethan still isn't alive. lol, in the UK we haven't even got to the part where he gets killed yet. But on that island anything can happen so I wouldn't be surprised if he is still alive.

Since the actor who played Ethan is now a semi-regular on "Threshold," it would be rather unusual for him to return to "Lost" unless he's one of those actors lucky enough to get two relatively important roles in one season.

I think he is alive as well. Course I still believe in the undead theory I posted in the theory section as well. If Ethan were one of the others, and the others really are zombies it would make sense that he is still alive. I'll have to watch that scene again to see if he is still breathing. I did find it interesting that they even wasted time showing Charlie and Hurley burying him -it must be important. Everything happens for a reason, on the show and on the island.

IMO this is a theory that might need some more proof. If Ethan could still be alive what would be next? Could Boone win the 1st Island Marathon?

If Ethan was as strong as you all insist, then how did the good ole doc kick the **** out of him? Sure, Ethan did lift the doctor up by the throat, but that's a little bit of a physical leap of strength. What else is so mystifying about Ethan? He can track in the woods.... Wow....
