Orientation Tape--B.F. Skinner Vs. John Calvin

The Orientation tape mentioned B.F. Skinner. As you may know he was a famous Behaviourist. I think he coined the term Behaviourism. It basicly taught that Men & Women have NO control over their actions. They are only moved to act by how and where they were raised. With contributing factors being things like how much money they have and if they were attractive or not. It was the scientific name for Fate, Kismet, or Karma.

On the other side was John Calvin who taught that it was God that planned everything in the world for His own Glory.

Many modern thinkers dismiss both schools of thought. They think that it makes Humans too much like "Robots!"

I personally do not think I am a "Robot."

I like to think of myself as more of a "Puppet."

Can you be a puppet and the puppeteer at the same time?

I can only be a puppet to everyone except my children. To them I am a traffic cop.
