Default Walt's dog?

Shannon seems to be getting awful close to that dog. And the dog to her. Could it be that Boone is in Walt's dog? After all, Walt seems to have control over creatures and Boone hung out a lot with Locke during Walt's days... so why wouldn't that seem like something he'd do?

Myeah.. not sure about that..
Generally a dog is affected to the person that takes care of it..

The dog however was given by walt to shannon because of the death of boone.

If anything I think Boone came back in the baby, not the dog. I think she gets along with the dog because she needs someone and the dog was given to her.

I'd have to agree with that one. The baby was born at almost the exact moment Boone died. That seems to follow more inline with reincarnation since the dog and Boone were both alive on the island already.

I don't know, the dog seems to always be leading them somewhere and other kinds of things. So I don't really know.

It may turn out that the dog is specially bred from some research the Dharma Initiative bunch worked on in the past and may be both smarter than average (for dogs) and may have some genetic memory of the island. If that were the case, Michael getting that dog for Walt probably was "arranged" since a lot seems not to be due to happenstance but to planning and execution by persons unknown.

On the other hand the dog may just be good at smelling out things from a distance that humans get no clues about beyond the visual.

Wasn't the dog originally Bryan's? I wonder if he has anything to do with Dharma...

Ahh...very interesting! It was originally Bryan's dog. I'm surprised the dog isn't doing more for them...but maybe that's part of the show. Maybe the dog had something to take care of when they first crashed on the island?! (I was surprised he didn't find the people faster.)

And tonight's episod with Sun talking about her dog, Bpo Bpo (A Kiss), and Hurley's dog, Buster, maybe they're giving us clues to think more about the dogs!!!???
