Johnathan "John" Locke
Johnathan "John" Locke is one of the middle section survivors of Oceanic Flight 815. His paralysis was immediately healed upon crashing on the Island, which has ultimately led him to believe he has some sort of special connection to the Island. He is sometimes shown in antithesis to Benjamin Linus, sharing several traits including the ability to commune with Jacob. Seen as antithetical to Jack Shephard, he and Jack are philosophical opposites and used to share leadership among the survivors, but now seems to be creating his own agenda for his actions on the Island and has broken off from the survivors.

"Dont push the button, the button is bad!"
...says Apparition-Walt to Shannon, (speaking backwards), when he visits her in her tent....Sayid assumes she's nuts, of course. But later on Shannon and Sayid see him again:
http://www.lost-media.com/modules.ph...um=775&pos=792
This is the one moment that makes me think ghostly-Walt should be taken seriously, where he appears to Shannon and Sayid to warn them to be quiet, SSSHHHH, because a very trigger happy Anna Luscious is coming around the bend, intent to shoot anyone first and ask questions later. WALT WAS WARNING SHANNON, and telling the truth!
So...what if video Walt is also telling the truth about the button! If so, does he know something our hatch-happy campers should be listening to? And remember when Walt warned Locke about the hatch last season, even though it was still a secret between Locke and Boone.
Well apparently, tonite they take his advice, because the 108 clock ticks out.

Hmmm, where is the theory in this? That the button is bad? Just explain it again differently, I dont see where this is a theory.
And bash me if I am being dense.

"I dont see where this is a theory."
I'll try again. Desmond has been pushing the button for years. Apparently doesnt know why or wont say. Dharma video says keep pushing the button or else...Incident 2, the sequel. Wont say why...or the piece of film is missing.
Walt, on the other hand, is 'special' and he says to Locke to stay out of the hatch, before he even knows it exists!
Then this season he appears to Shannon and tells her the button is bad, dont push it!
And finally he appears to Shannon and Sayid to try to save her life.
All I know is...he was truthful towards Shannon when she was about to get shot, so he might be being truthful about the button pusshing being bad, also!
It's neither here nor there, cuz if the eppy promo is real, the clock ticks out to zero tonite!
