Okay, so maybe I burst the bubble prematurely... but this is the screenshot for the promo from last week showing the counter hitting zero. It is clearly a different counter (Toad said in another thread that maybe it's the counter at a different station):

What I actually think is that they only used that counter for the promo, and then that particular^ one was cut out during editing? Yes, or No?

Well, I did consider that they may have only used that clock for the promo, but not by accident. Maybe just to throw us Lostaholics off the trail? Maybe they assumed we would figure out that it was a different counter?

I don't know, I still like the idea that there is more than one counter, like one in each station. Maybe the hiroglyphics popping up were indicating something happening at each station, and once whatever it is happens at every station... kablooey!

ok im basing this on what i think was me understanding there are 5 "hatches" (or what ever you wanna call em)

if there are 5 and this one is the only "active" one left the other 4 symbols showed up and the last one that was still spinning was our hatch.

Theoretically there should be 6 hatches (if there is a hatch for each sect of Dharma).
