Mr. Eko

Eko, also known as Mr. Eko or Father Tunde, was one of the tail section survivors of Oceanic Flight 815. He was a notorious war lord and drug smuggler in Nigeria before his brother Yemi's death. To get out of his country he hastily became a priest, but after Yemi's death, he seemed to take his role more seriously. Eko survived on the Island for 72 days before he was killed by the Monster.

Default Number Theory

I was looking at Hurley's numbers, when i started to put things together. The numbers are 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, and 42. Here is what i figgured out....

- 4... there were 4 people who left on the raft, 4 guns in the marshels suit case and when the alarm sounds in the hatch, they have 4 minutes to enter the code.

-8, 15...Put the 8 and the 15 together to make 815, the flight # of th plane that everyone was on

-16...The french woman's distress call had been playing for 16 years

- 23...On the preview for this weeks episode of Lost, we hear micheal say "I thought you said there were 23" maybe there were 23 survivors of the tail section, im still not sure.

-42...We do know that there are 42 survivors living on the beach and in the caves.

-If you add all of the numbers together, u get 108, the number of minutes that the timer resets to when they enter the code in the hatch.

So those are my theories, sorry for any mis spelling. What do you think?

I think what he means is that there are 23 others?

Anyhow.. these numbers keep comming back.. i just reviewed all the season 1 episodes and there are LOADS of connections to these numbers in there.

Guess those numbers are triggering something.

i've been thinking about the number theory too, and have 2 more insights... Sawyer was 8 years old when his dad shot himself. and... the reward money offered for Kate in Oz was $23,000.00.

Did some searching and found all this info.
I also watched Season 1 twice.. so i knew some of it like the gate nr etc.

Might be a good idea to make it a seperate topic and add new things whenever youve seen any in an episode?

Good work. It's people like you that make it easy for people like me.
