Paulo

Paulo was one of the middle section survivors of Flight 815. Before the crash, he and Nikki Fernandez murdered Howard L. Zukerman and stole his diamonds. They spent most of their time on the island searching for these diamonds to the exclusion of almost everything else. A bite from a Medusa spider induced a death-like paralysis in Paulo. He subsequently died as a result of being buried alive while paralized.

Has anyone connected Alvar Hanso with the Nazis? A- H?!?!?
you know - THEY did experiments on all of the topics that the DeGroots indicated would be done in regard to their Dharma Initiave!! INCLUDING life extension!!!
Am I the ONLY one who thought this?!?!?

I think thats a little far fetched..
I dont see any connections.. sorry.

In what way did DHARMA work on life extention? how did you get that?

I dunno, I mean... right now you have little to no proof. Initials say nothing, because if they did we've got JS... Jack Shepherd. Jesus Saviour? Sorry, but I don't take the whole historical/religious allusions on it without some good solid proof.

How about the Juxtapositional Eugenics Development?

After doing some reasearch it appears that JED could be about creating a master race. Wasn't that Hitler's modus operandi?

The theory is probably no more far-fetched than any of the others that I saw.

I think you might be onto something...

Just to update my theory:

I asked a friend of mine, who is a history professor AND a LOST fan, about this one, and HE said that the active Hanso/Dharma projects coincide with Nazi projects - they were evil, freaky guys, bent on world domination - but also into the Occult, the Paranormal, Genetics and YES - EUGENICS - creating a "better" world by improving the human gene pool - IE - creating a "master race".

Juxtapositional Eugenics might have something to do with cross-species genetics or something equally disturbing and truly ICKY - a' la Dr. Moreau.
