Paulo

Paulo was one of the middle section survivors of Flight 815. Before the crash, he and Nikki Fernandez murdered Howard L. Zukerman and stole his diamonds. They spent most of their time on the island searching for these diamonds to the exclusion of almost everything else. A bite from a Medusa spider induced a death-like paralysis in Paulo. He subsequently died as a result of being buried alive while paralized.

Default Jin and Sun
Wasn't there a flash forward of Jin going around looking for a giant stuffed panda bear when Sun was giving birth and it got taken by someone who got in his cab? Was that after the island? If so, Jin definately makes it off the exploding freighter right? I could be wrong about that scene as I though he was one of the "Oceanic 6" but the baby was the 6th when they all met the press. I'm sure this is a thread somewhere else too.

No - there was a twist in that episode that was a cruel joke on us viewers. Sun giving birth was a Flash FORWARD, but Jin buying the panda as a gift for the minister's new grandson was a Flash BACK. It think there is a line in the Jin flashback about him only being married for a few months.

See when I saw that it meant that he had gotten off the island but couldn't tell Sun so he had remarried and ended up doing crap job again.

Makes much more sense that's flashBACK... hah
