Good theory. There is a bit of conflict with the timeline thing though, not that anyone actually knows what is going on with that... If Richard and Aaron are the same person how do they exist in the same timeline?

Also, it seems like recruiting Juliet and trying to kidnap Claire while she was pregnant have an entirely different meaning. I mean, if Claire and baby die while on the island then that means Richard doesn't exist. That's a time travel paradox if I ever heard one.
If Ben and Richard/Aaron know about all this stuff, why does Ben let Walt leave the island? It seems like he would at least try to keep him on the island (if not kill him right away) you know, since he was going to go all back to the future on him.

Well as long as they do not meet each other they will be fine. Remember the orientation video. When the rabbits appeared he said not to let them touch. So they can be in the same timeline.
Kidnapping Claire was sort of a safety thing. If she was with Ben and the Others she would be safer than staying with Jack or Locke. She would of been at the Temple now.
If Michael does not leave the island then Ben's man on the boat will not be as determine. While Ben has the power of manipulation, I doubt he would of found anyone as determine as Michael. In order for this to happen, Walt had to leave the island. And remember, Ben always has a plan.

If you look closely it falls all the way to the floor. However, it's just the thing that was sitting on the shelf where the rabbit appeared. There were two of them on the shelf, then one of them fell, then there was the rabit and one thing on the shelf...
