Rabbits and Planes

I have been thinking a lot about The Lost Experience, Finding815, The Mobisodes and The Orchid Film. The Lost Powers That Be have told us that the Mobisodes (the missing pieces) and the Orchid Film can be taken as gospel, and in fact, the Orchid Film will be very important. So I was thinking about the Orchid Film and what we see. The Orchid could have to do with medical, zoological and/or psychological research using the rabbits. But in the film we see a second rabbit appear that is seemingly the same as the rabbit the good Doctor is holding. Then I read something and it got me thinking, wonder if the Orchid film can explain why there is plane wreckage on our Lostie island and there is plane wreckage at the bottom of the Sunda Trench? One object appearing in two different places at the same time that appear to have physical mass.

I was thinking about that early in the season, but why are both sides Whitmore/ Linus both claiming that the plane that was found was a fake???

Yes, exactly Wednighter! I was talking about this with a friend. Showing documents and pictures (forged or real) is much easier to explain than a machine that is capable of making a rabbit appear in two places at once.

Ok let me make sure I understand this right..

Were thinking one side is blameing the other when actually neither did it.. Each side had forged papers about the other.. But actually both crashed since 815 flew into some "field" is the word I guess I'll use, and did what happened to the bunnies in the Orchard Video.. Would this happened when Desmond didn't push the button or not related? I guess I think I'm confused on what we think it means...

I just don't like the idea that the plane wrecks are like the two bunnies.

I hope it's not true.

BUT.........

It would explain it. (if and when we get an explanation of what exactly happened in the Orchid video.) And some how more believable than some organization being powerful enough to actually fake a plane crash.

Hmmm, what you'd need is some kind of box - one that you could look into and there'd be anything you wanted. Now if only someone had one of those, he'd be able to fake anything he wanted to - documents,photographs,plane wreckage, dead bodies.

It's definately a possibility I've thought of. Bens 'magic box' is definately large enough to produce a human body (it's already brought Lockes' dad),so it's distinctly possible that the bodies on the 815 in the trench could have been abracadabrad up ( Abra-cadaver - that's so bad ). So is it too much of a stretch to believe it could produce a plane? (maybe it is now I've written it down

). Ben could have got hold of all the documents / photo's from the box too to try and convince Michael to do his dirty work.

I still think Ben's "magic box" is more of a metaphor than anything else. Kinda like when Ben told Locke that they have two giant hampsters running in a wheel for electricity.

And Locke's Dad told Sawyer that he was basically kidnapped and woke up tied to a chair in that room that Ben had him held in.

As with many things that Ben says there is probably something to this so called "magic box" , but I don't think it should be taken so literally.

If he had access to a "magic box" that could produce anything or anyone, then why not just do the hocus pocus and snatch up Widmore. Or why go through all the elborate schemes to capture Jack, Kate, and Sawyer when he could just wish them up.

Anyways...... a "magic box" that could produce anything you want could be just a computer connected to the internet.

I agree to an extent. I don't think it can make someone appear, per se - but maybe it can replicate them, so he wouldn't have the original Widmore - just a copy - same with the bodies on the plane. If all he wanted was to get rid of Widmore though, why not just have him assassinated? I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard for Ben to achieve, after all he knows where Widmore is, but not vice versa. All Bens 'person' who was filming Widmore (4.06) would need to do was pop up and shoot him.
