Dr. Juliet Burke
Dr. Juliet Burke (née Carlson) is a member of the Others. She seems unhappy with her allegiance (particularly, it seems, with Ben's position of authority), and lives at the Barracks. Juliet is a calm, intelligent woman with a background in medicine, but unhappy with her private life and will do anything to get off the Island. However, it seems Juliet has betrayed her people and joined the survivors in wanting off the island.

The moment they showed the plane underwater with the bodies on board, I knew this was really the same plane and the same Losties we know, but these ones were all killed in the crash. I am going to hold to that, because one of the items on Faraday's notebook was a sketch that showed, among other things, several different time "zones" for lack of a better term - one of which was "real space" (the real world) and one which was "imaginary space" (our favorite Island). To me, imagination is a place where anything is possible...
I would be very disappointed if it turned out Ben was telling the truth about Widmore planting the plane wreckage. Besides, who here believes he ever really tells the truth?

I still think the plane found in the trench is exactly what they told us it was....
a fake.
It's a funny thing. One of the biggest attractions about LOsT is all the mysterious things that happen and trying to figure out what the heck is going on. As a result of all these unexplained mysteries one of the biggest complaints people have about the show is all the unanswer questions that are raised each week. But the funny thing is that when the show does address and answer a particular mystery, many fans think that they are being tricked or lied to.
Now I realize that LOsT is not above a little misdirection now and then, but its seems that for the most part when the writers do use this literary device the truth is revealed within the same episode. For example Ji Yeon.
anyways..... they took the time during an episode to explain the origins of the plane wreakage that was found in the deep sea trench. And I think ole Mr. Friendly was telling the truth.
It might be interesting to look back and see if there are any episodes where a mystery is answered and then in a later episode that answer turned out to be a lie.
Can anyone think of an episode where this happened??
