the children of LOST

so i just made this account so sorry if this has been said
but walt and the tail children were taken by these people who we dont know right? WHY? well i just thought of this.
The tail kids' parents were either dead or somewhere else and we dont know them yet, right? so they were kinda alone. they only had each other.
and walt was angry with his dad and didnt like to obey him and felt alone. he only had Locke.
so maybe the others took the children out of sympathy?
but if that's so, why take everyone else?

forgot this: CLAIRES baby. when she was pregnant, didnt she wake up with an 'Other' with a needle? something weird about that.

I thought Walt and Michael were really close, especially close to the end when he got taken.

no because walt was angry because Micheal reeeeeaaallllyyyy didnt want Walt to see Locke and Locke was his only friend.

That was before, but they became close after Walt burnt down the raft and he told Michael.

At first Claire didn't want the baby. She was gonna give it up for adoption!! The tailies kids were going to see their mom in L.A.

call me crazy (wouldn't be the first time), has anyone else said or thought that maybe those who are taken are of the right age or soon will be to help in the repopualtion of their own group of others? Even though Ana Lucia was told those who were taken were on the list because they were "good people".
Just a crazy thought.

i don't think they took them out of sympathy. i mean, the others wouldn't have taken just the children then, i mean there are other ppl that were unhappy too, so why not take the other ppl. y just the kids
