Russeau was already in the late stages of pregnancy when she came to thr island. Aaron was two, nearring three, at the time o Kate's trial.

Ben doesn't say this. I am not trying to be a jerk about it, but I think it is important to be as accurate as possible.

I mean we all know the story according to Rousseau:

Already 8 months pregnant, Rousseau shipwreck on the island 16 years ago.
She claims her crew got sick and she had to kill them all.
She gave birth to Alex and the others came and took her.

So if Rousseau is telling the truth, then yeah it seems obvious that Ben is not Alex's biological father. BUT he didn't use those words in the last episode, and I don't think he has ever used those words.

I don't think Ben ever said that she wasn't his biological daughter. I don't really believe Danielle's story completely. I think she might believe it, but I think that might just be her mind playing tricks on her or wishful thinking.
I've been thinking that at some point, she was a member of Ben's group but went a little nuts and run off to the jungle to live. She probably tried to take her daughter, but Ben kept her at the Barracks. Maybe Danielle was part of the Purge, but she couldn't take the guilt and flipped out.
I've always thought the Danielle and Juliet looked very similar. And apparently they both look like Ben's mom. Maybe Ben had a thing for Danielle before she ran away (maybe Ben's obsession with her caused her to run away) and then he found Juliet to obsess about.

Where is that Zepruder tape. Not only have we got a second shooter, Ben has to be the man on the grassy knoll. In fact, if you check it was really a B. Linus who purchased the rifle for Oswald.

Come on guys. Give Ben a break. Anyway, if he was Alex's real father it would mean that he and Danielle would have had to have sex somewhere off the island. She would have then carried the child to near term before coming back to the island to deliver.

Why bother. It could be that Danielle was telling the truth. To quote Christopher Walken in the movie Last Man Standing,

"Why would a guy lie?"

All good theories, Ben could have raped kate, and it could be there baby, or.......... 2 it could be kates and sawyer's, or could be claires baby and kate took him cause something happened to her. i am not sure as i am only on episode 4 right now i wait and download them from TV Torrents Online so i can watch a bunch at once. In the end it is probably just to weired for jack cause he cares alot for kate....wheres sawyer??

Ok, I'm new here, I've just been reading thru all the posts but I have to add something here....

That's gotta be Claire's Aaron, because for one, Jack said to Kate "You're not even related to him!" And then there's Charlie telling Hurley to tell Jack that he's not supposed to raise him.

ben already stated this season that he stole alex, and that he was not really her father.

i believe jack is reluctant to be around kate and aaron, because he knows who claire is by then, and feels guilty that his sister was left behind on the island. but that is just a guess.

but i am almost positive he knows Aaron is his nephew, that is why he makes the comment at the end of the episode- "you are not even related to him" when kate tells him he can't be around "her son."

i apologize also. i am also new, and was not paying attention to the dates of the postings. so i maybe "disproving" theories that were made before the shows that disporved them aired. i will try to pay more attention.
