Now that we're all caught up after the season ending episodes.... why doesn't Claire want Aaron back on the island (per Claire in Kate's dream... if it was a dream), but Ben says that all of them (Oceanic 6) have to go back (including Locke in the coffin)?

I think the baby really is Claire's as Kate saw her in a vision telling her "not to take him back" And he just looks like the same child.

And it seems Jacob has been stuck in some kind of limbo, with no real body, thus he has people speak for him.. I don't know,, it sounds CRAZY even to me, but what if through the time warp thing he got to be born
a fresh? Why did he ask Locke to "help him?" Was he trapped somehow?

I keep wondering about what will turn out to be the real special thing of Aaron- you know, other than being one of the rare live births island has allowed (next to Rousseau's Alex)..I'm thinking he won't be just another cute baby with extreme luck (survived Smokie, Ben, Crazy Keamy etc) but someone with a different quality..? Like Walt, whose difference was noted by his step-dad long before the crash yes, but I think the island made a special connection with him too. How about Aaron?

Don't forget, that helicopter hit the water pretty hard, and all the Losties, including a fragile baby, survived with NO injuries. Even these Losties, Aaron included, probably can't die, which is why we see Jack just walk across the street to the funeral home without even looking at traffic, during the S3 finale, drawing a blaring horn from a driver.
I'm betting we haven't seen anything deep about the O6 yet, and these next seasons will show how all have sunk into despair, and how desperate to find themselves again. It's a guess anyway.

maybe they can't die because their destiny is to die on the island, which brings us back to the timeline of the crash and whether it was meant to kill everyone on board originally. aaron was born later but he was still part of claire when the plane went down so his destiny is connected to the plane and the island too...

Is it just me, or is there just a little bit of "Final Destination" in that theory? Don't think they'd use an idea that has been done so recently in the cinema! LOST is usually a lot more original than that!

I too think that Aaron will turn out to be Jacob. Just a wild guess tho, nothing to back it up. Yet, anyway.
