When the children were first taken one of the kids from the plane must have taken the stuffed Teddy Bear. Later when Jin and Eco see them while hiding the children are walking as silently as the rest of the Others.

It could be that the children seen were not from the crash. That would mean that they were drawn to the Teddy Bear as a form of comfort.

Or it could be the kids from crash that had been quickly taught that they must be silent because of some great danger.

Kids love Teddy Bears, if you still need a Christmas idea.

Still hoping for a pony...

I was thinking that the child walking in the jungle with the teddy bear was Walt, but didn't one of the children from the tail section have a bear? Anyway, it definitely wasn't Walt... I noticed last night how white the legs were. Very weird how silently they move, not even crackling the jungle ground beneath their feet.

well....all this s--- I'v had in my life here lately,theres GOTTA be a pony! The teddy was bandaged uptoo well done for a kid to do it..ergo,somebody in the Others group cares about the kids enough to cater to their whims.

I keep looking closely. The children who were kidnapped from the Tailes
were quite young - maybe 8 and 10 or 11. Those legs dragging the Teddy Bear (which looks completely different from the one Emma had, by the way)
are awfully long and mature. I dont' think there were any children in the group that was walking by Jin and Eko.

And perhaps they are walking silently because the security system attacks the Others, too. It would make all the line-drawing by Zeke a little more explainable, too.
