Maybe it is Locke in the casket. If he is ever taken from the island (no way he would willingly go) he will either have an aneurysm (sp?) or do something rash at becoming a cripple once again.

My thought is that since Locke was also in the hatch at the time of the implosion he, too, will experience what Des did when leaving the island.

The only problem with Locke doesn't really have anyone to be his 'constant.' His ex? She doesn't want anything to do with him. His mom? That nut job- it has to be someone he is really passionate towards like Daniel said. The only person in his life that he held any passion to (albeit negative passion) was his father and he killed him so there goes that.

Daniel didn't say it had to be a person that was the constant, just something they cared a lot for. I think this not having a constant could be a problem for a lot of the LOSTies. Most everyone on the island has given up a lot in their life and is just existing out there on their own. Not that they couldn't find one thing if they had to, but maybe a little warning is needed so they can all search for one.

Good point- it doesnt have to be a person. But Daniel did say that this only happens to those who are expossed to large amounts of radiation so I dont know if all the losties will be affected- unless if when the sky turned purple and the hatch blew they were all exposed...

Oh my.. That got me thinking.. Who were the only Lostie's who were not near the swan or beach when the hatch imploded?
