I seem to be finding myself constantly bombarded(mentally) by this "time on the island" idea and don't want to reply to every post about it, so i'll bring this idea to the table.

Here are my thoughts...

People keep speculating that the time on the island is different than that of the rest of the world. I think what we will find out is there are differences between RATE and TIME.

I seem to keep thinking to myself that the writers wouldn't skew it as far as saying the island goes by a different RATE rather than TIME. The RATE at which people age is different than the TIME FRAME in which they age. I can't bring myself to believe that the island is like planet of the apes(different thread) where minutes pass on the planet and years pass outside the island. I believe the RATE on the island is equivalent to the RATE off the island, but the TIME on the island IS DIFFERENT than the TIME off the island.
