Naomi

Why was Naomi picked as the leader of the expedition, only to parachute their first, by herself. Why is she in the cast list for next weeks episode, if we thought she was dead?

I believe there is more to Naomi then we think now that all this information is coming out about the freighters.

I agree, Naomi will be back. I also think Libby will be back- there's way too much left open ended with some of these dead characters. Why was that black guy so certain that there were no survivors? Why was the skinny dark haired man crying when he saw the news footage?

He had told Naomi that she was supposed to protect the rest of the team...woops.

Well, I don't think she'll be alive again, that would be kind of a repetition^^ Maybe she'll be in some more flashbacks.

I don't think there will be anymore to her on the island but her story off the island is obviously very complex. She was involved with some powerful organization (DHARMA??) off the island and must have a complicated story to tell.

Yeah, I agree- I didnt mean back and kicking, I meant there will be more of their stories to tell.

Well that missle the freighter sent to the team on the island definatley proved there is some kind of time loop- an hour off was it?

Has anyone noticed that she died with her eyes open? And they left them open for a long time - just wide open. I'm sure there is some significance to that, plus the fact that Desmond took her on the helicopter. I'm betting that she is only in a "partial" dead state due to the time properties on the island, and that when she makes it to the freighter, she will come out of her state and be alive again!

And what about her bracellet?! Oh I cant think of the inscription right now- jotted it down at home. And then the woman Sayid loved in his flash forward was wearing that same style bracellet. Is it a company bracellet? Is it Dharma?

Do you think that woman's boss who was only in Eurpoe twice a year was Abbadon?

Naomi was loaded onto the helicopter, but when they landed on the ship we didn't see her at all. Wouldn't it make sense that someone would notice she was on the chopper, dead? There's no way the shippies wouldn't have a crazy fit if they saw her dead, so I think the writers intentionally left her out of the episode because we will see her again in a "shocking" revelation.

Maybe They just forgot about her. Since good old Des was acting so wacko. Plus they can dedicate a whole episode just to ... Whats this? Naomi, cold and blue, in the back of the chopper? she looks... to be.. dead!!!!

maybe her body disappeared through a time lapse.

either that or when they hit turbulence, it fell in the ocean.
