Mr. Eko

Eko, also known as Mr. Eko or Father Tunde, was one of the tail section survivors of Oceanic Flight 815. He was a notorious war lord and drug smuggler in Nigeria before his brother Yemi's death. To get out of his country he hastily became a priest, but after Yemi's death, he seemed to take his role more seriously. Eko survived on the Island for 72 days before he was killed by the Monster.

Default *Spoiler*....I think

Rumours have been spread that the people who survived the plane crash are all actually in purgatory. Think about it, everyone has somethin they either want to prove, or need to redeem themselves.

Kate wants to make up for her past.

That teacher who was helpin bout the dynamite died after he had given them useful information, he might've ascended into heaven after that? ? (his purpose was served)

Just seems to fit in

During last season a number of devotees discussed that maybe they're all in Purgatory. There was also a consensus that if the explanation is something like that, a lot of fans are going to be displeased. (Older folks here may remember 20 years ago when the series Dallas used the "it was all a dream" on the part of one character to explain away a lot of seemingly unresolvable issues.) Even if the writers may have been holding that as one option for an explanation, I think by now they will have realized that won't fly with a lot of fans.

There is not one thing about this show that would make me think they could be in Pergatory. Just my thought. Not trying to flame

Oh man the Purgatory theory would tick me off if it was true. I personally think Purgatory is something worse than being stuck on an island with other people.
