it's definitely projected onto a screen.
whether it is a film projector or a video projector is the question.
but either way I still say the others are more than capable of editing any type of media.
I fixed the youtube video in my previous post.
check about frame 01:09 you can see the projector above Karls head.

Groovy thanks Folie.. I completley agree with you about the others being more than capable of editing the media!

Yeah but I doubt they would do it. Knowing the others they had no reason to Brainwash. Dharma did have a reason to brainwash though which is why the originally made a brainwashing video and station.

Here is a little update for Jacob, straight from the horses mouth.

Carlton Cuse: "Yes, we do know how Jacob will be depicted. Notice the careful wording of my answer. And no, Jacob did not appear before he was met by Locke."

So my understanding of this is that Jacob is not any character we have seen before. What do you guys think?

There goes the future past and present times clashing theory out of the closet. If the directors were approaching that theory Jacob=Future Locke. So yeah there problaly not. It seems they are desperately trying to tell us that this time theories are false.

Is the smoke monster a "depicted" character? Does that imply CG effects? Is Jacob going to be animated?

I personally think that Jacob will be a new character that we have not met yet.. I was wondering and don't remember if we know how long has Jacob been there..

The dictionary gives the definition of depicted as
represented graphically by sketch or design or lines
So has Carlton carefully choosen this word to tell us that Jacob will never be seen in the flesh? Or is this just being too literal?
