Mr. Eko

Eko, also known as Mr. Eko or Father Tunde, was one of the tail section survivors of Oceanic Flight 815. He was a notorious war lord and drug smuggler in Nigeria before his brother Yemi's death. To get out of his country he hastily became a priest, but after Yemi's death, he seemed to take his role more seriously. Eko survived on the Island for 72 days before he was killed by the Monster.

didn't Arntz or Artz mention that the black rock could have been pushed inland by a typhoon? A water surge could have put a lot of the island underwater allowing the black rock to float over a part of the island then getting stuck there as it hit high ground. After being stuck, the water subsided and volia' (sp?) a ship in the middle of the jungle. Kind of like the supposed noah's ark stuck on Mt. Arrarat.

No ~ I'm in Texas ~ Where last 2 years not enough rain to keep the cacti alive,and this year places have gotten 19" of rain in 6 hours,and HERE have gotten bout 22" from Jan,and expect 3to5 more today!!
Send a boat!!! We got the overflow of people running from the hurricane in La--Was really scary-- Hwys jamed for 60 miles!!

the black rock is still a mystery that i would like to see get solved,

were led to believe it is a slave ship but some things just dont add up as first and foremost it would have had to have been an illegal slave trade ship, because the slave trade was made illegal long before dynamite was invented and we all know the black rock carried dynamite. as far as i can remember dynamite was invented in the 1866 which rules out british ships going to australia with prisoners because this was stopped in the 1850's 1854 if my memory serves me correctly. as far as i know, correct me if im wrong slavery was abolished in 1863 in america and this was one of the last places in the world to abolosih slavery, as it had been abolished in the british empire several years prior to 1863, now if dynamite was not invented until 1866 or used widely till as late as the 1870's why would a slave ship from earlier carry dynamite??

what was the island before the dharma crew arrived anyway? maybe the others are from that ship. ye lost souls on a deserted island lookin for treasha, arrrggh......sorry im getting carried away

oh and also in the 19th century there was a black rock, the name of which i have completely forgotten, but it was magnetic and at the time they just reffered to it as the black rock?? coinsidence about all the magnetic stuff on the island and then a ship called the black rock??? i think not!!

i cant for the life of me remember the name of it, i only know about it through pure coincidence there was a tv programme ages ago i was watching that mentioned the rock. and i got thinking that well when Rousseau says the black rock, i thought oh well that will be the thing that is "altering" the compass back in season 1 and then they reveal that its a ship i was like wow! this has to be something more

its been bugging me for ages tho i just cant find a link between the black rock and the magnetism, there has to be one though i cant believe that would just be a coincidence
