Default Summary of theories, do the writers have a clue?

Hi,

The most interesting theory in my view is the "Sienfeld syndrom theory" saying the writers themselves have no clue and that they are making up the plot based on viewer wishes and opinions portrayed in web message boards such as this. Gets me thinking, any one of the writers (how many are there anyway?) can make a fortune writing a "how we wrote lost" book/blog.

Default

The producers did state they had the show completed, for a full seven seasons, even before a network picked them up. Now I'm sure there has been changes to the storyline along the way, but the end is settled, I have no doubts about that. During one of the specials, they even stated they had a 'really cool ending' and hoped people would hang on long enough to see it.
