HELLLOOOO EVERYONE. First of all I should mention that I'm blown away with the last episode. I spent couple of hours trying to read that piece of newspaper which Jack kept on folding. Here's the quote:
"Man Found Dead" and then it goes wrinkly following by second line: "downtown ..." it follows by: "The body of J..." and this section is where it gets kind of difficult and these people did a great job covering it. So here's what can be read from it: "The Body of J... shortly after 4..." well, looking at this we can clearly see that we have a dead male whose name starts with J. So it's not Juliette for sure, it's not Ben as well since Ben starts with a B and not a J. I was wondering if the body is Sawyer's, but then I thought that Sawyer is a tall guy and the casket can't be his. So I have no clue who's body is in there. Also, as noted in the last episode, Jack is taking a pill, I forgot the name for the pill but I did a research on it and it turned out that the pill is not related to any depression, instead it's related to pain and it's something like morphine. hope this will bring up more thoughts. Oxycontin. A SERIOUS pain killer (narcotic analgesic) and drug of choice for a lot of highschoolers. Two interesting links Lost fans might be interested in:
Wikipedia entry for Oxycodone http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oxycodone In Guilty Plea, Oxycontin Maker to Pay $600 Million http://www.nytimes.com/2007/05/10/bu...2e6abe&ei=5070 I don't know the exact difference between oxycontin and oxycodone. It could be just the actual clinical name and the generic name. Also, I thought they were really little tablets. In the close up during the last episode they are great big horse tablets. Maybe the big ones just look better onscreen. well, looking at this we can clearly see that we have a dead male whose name starts with J. “The body of John Lantham of New York was found shortly after 4 am in the 4300 block of Grand Avenue. Ted Worden, a doorman at the Tower Lofts complex, heard loud noises coming from the victim’s loft. Concerned for tenants’ safety, he entered the loft and found the body hanging from a beam in the living room. According to Jaime Ortiz, a police spokesman, the incident was deemed a suicide after medical tests. Latham is survived by one teenaged son. Memorial services will be held at the Hoffs" (I think I found this at the tailsection site)
