Rouseau's Radio Broadcast

I don't know where else to post this question:

If Rouseau and her team was shipwrecked on the island 16 years ago, and she set up the tape loop that the Losties picked up at the start of Season One...why hasn't anybody asked her where the transmitter is? It obviously isn't at the Flame Station. And if there'sa a second radio station, and it's been broadcasting the same loop for sixteen years, why have the Others (who took Rouseau's baby, but whom she's never seen) let the tape keep playing and the radio keep broadcasting all these years?

Mikhail and his comment about his recruitment seventeen years earlier reminded me of Rouseau's sixteen year radio-taped broadcast.

Great Question, and again, more of our Losties not following what should be easy steps to take, and not communicating properly. We know by now that whatever the hell they put on that tape won't work, but why they aren't trying it, I have no idea.

Ask these questions please! How have you powered your radio signal for 16 years? and did the purple sky incident knock out your broadcast, too?

The Others told her she could live in peace if she made a message,Mikhail and others might have been sent to rescue her, but instead were "recruited" by the others. Danielle had to have come in contact with them. Yeah, ok quite a huge stretch, but I'm just venting. (:

Smokey as 'sound'? Not too sure about that one...

I dont think that the smoke ever took form of a human ever. When people saw their relatives, or other people from their past it was just a mere hallucination. They needed to hear or know something from these people of the past, and they appeared as hallucinations to remind the losties of important things. Also dreams happen, and things DO happen by coincidence. I think that Yemi appearing and ending up on the cliff was just a cool dream because Eko was searching for something, so he had a dream that would lead him to something.

and about smokey being a sound, i was kinda kidding, hence the ...

One of the most interesting scenes in The Cost of Living is when Mr. Eko sees Yemi again, and rather than confessing of his sins, he explains that he feels that he has not sinned, but has done only what was required of him. The apparition of Yemi mysteriously remarks that Eko spoke to him as if he was his brother. This could be taken many ways, but based on the explanation in this week's Official LOST Podcast, apparently this was supposed to be understood to mean that this was not really Yemi, but that it was the smoke monster posing as Eko's younger brother.

Thats cool, but I just think that the smoke isnt able to turn into human form. Thats just me
