The Voices

hey! Everyone! Just wanted to take the time to say, "GREAT EPISODE!" I didn't read any spoilers so it was a great surprise!

To the point -- the voices. my theory, throwing it out there...

The voices that the back of the plane heard could they be Said and Sticks and the voices that Said and Sticks heard, could they have been the people from the back of the plane.

Therefore, the others unintensionally, or tensionally, played a mind game on them to kill each other. Thus, the island, an experiment to watch the societies kill off themselves unless they stick together...like Michael not giving up on Sawyer and Chewy helping out...

TOGETHER THEY LIVE, ALONE THEY DIE...

I still believe the voices have been the others the whole time. Im just wondering how they have the ability to be so close to someone and yet not be heard moving or not be seen. by the way the whispers sound, its like they're surronding them or something. I wonder how many more episodes it will be until they come face to face with the others.

I think it's wild. I wonder if it will come out that the Others aren't really 'killing' anyone. So far, the deaths on Lost have been from each other.

Except Sceve...who killed him? And was Joanna's death someone else's fault?

I think that there is more than one kind or group of others cause the ones who cant be followed or seen in the words that whisper seem different from ethan and the ones who took walt on the boat.

So there might be Dharma Others and Experiment-Gone-Wrong Others.

What if the voices aren't a sound at all but thought. When the others are within range a sort of telepathic broadcast occurs. Walt can Astral project, so the others may be telepathically communicating with one another but the normal people pick it up to an extent but are not able to understand it.

Thought heard telepathically might be omnidirectional, you think you are hearing it with your ears but it is in your head. When the wispers are heard there is also anxiety, perhaps the dark intentions of the others are slipping through.

To me the others influence what is happening, making bad things happen through their force of will.

interesting thought Rai and makes some sense. All i know for sure is that i cant wait to find out what the real deal with the others is once and for all
