hi i am new in this forum and i want to share with you my theory of lost.
i think that the the people on the iland are brain controlled by the others.its basicaly the matrix idea,they are in a room conectted to a system that controlles them alltogheter.
therefor nothing that happnes in the iland is not real,its an illusion.
that theory can explain almost every thing for example:
how the others disapear without leaving anytracks?
the answer is simple,since they are controling this experement they can enter and exit this illusion
why some peaople killed in the show?
if any of the survivers passing the test that this illusion gives him this person is getting killed or free
for example:
anna losia had the chance to kill ban because of her temper but she didnt she passed here most difficult test then she got killed(she just got her way out of this test/illusion)
mickle showed he will do anything for his son incloding killing and cheating his friends
he got out!!!!
why charlie suppose to die?
he sucsseded to overcome his addiction to drugs
tell me what you think about this theory
and ask questions to pruve or dispruve that theory

I like your idea of "When they overcome their greatest problem they die". Also I'm pretty sure the island is real, and at this point it would be down right evil to tell us the entire island was just a program.

I think the creators have already discounted a matrix style theory. Plus, i don't think Michael got out... I don't think 'They' are letting anyone off this island of free will. You are going to have a blast a hole in the sky and swim to freedom.

The only part of this i have trouble with ( and i love the MATRIX ) is that they are brain washing people in room 23 inside of the brainwashing that would already be going on... sounds a bit redundant

Your welcome. It's not a bad theory don't get me wrong. I thought for a long time they were dead and in Purgatory, makes a lot of sense, but with the popularity of Lost sites on the net, the creators have come out to publicially dismiss many theories. Here at Losttalk, we try and wade through the mess of theories that are left, and hopefully one fine day, come to a sad realization, that we were way off.
