A question I have is, If Juliette's sister was trying to get pregnant, then who was the Father? It didn't appear that she had a husband or significant other - Was it medicine to improve her fertility that Juli gave her or was it the actual "test tube baby" she was implanting? There still would have to be a father - sperm donator somewhere. Maybe Ethan or Juliette's Ex? Or was it a Imaculate conception - like the thing Locke's mother was talking about, or was she just nuts??????? AND do we know that her sister was Really pregnant or was she lying to Juliette for some reason??? I'm just getting myself more confused as I go! help!!

Well Juliet is a fertility specialist... we do not know what was in the syringe that Juliet gave her sister Rachel... If I were to guess it would have been something to make her more fertile, hormones, what have you... By the fact of the pregnacy test I would have to say that her sister was pregnant at the time but we do not know if she carried to term or what was preventing her from becoming pregnant.. As to who the father is your guess is as good as mine... Wouldn't have been creepy if it was Ethan though...

Didn't Mr. Alpert mention something during Juliet's interview to the effect of " is it true you were able to make a male mouse pregnant?" and Juliet replied that the mouse didn't carry to term. Maybe the island is an equal-opportunity impregnator - conception for everyone! "Go ahead... get a shot... it's a vaccine, yeah, yeah.... a vaccine! I'm sure it won't make you pregnant or anything."

Ethan gave pregnant Claire injections in to her abdomen so it could have gone into the baby or just her bloodstream, or both. Charlie gave himself a shot of the stuff Desmond had, "just to try it out" and then gave the stuff to Claire but I don't think she actually gave the baby any.

The stuff Des shot was from the Hatch,where did Charlie say he found the vaccine? Des did say before the implosion that he shot himsellf with that stuff every 9 days for 3 years,and that Claire shouldn't bother. He was really drunk at the time though. (: The stuff Juliette put in her sister was a medical vaccine Juliette had invented. Do you think all the vaccines are the same,but the people who receive them are told differently?

I believe Charlie found the vaccine in the hatch, where Desmond had it and he knew Desmond had been using it, and though maybe the baby should have some. But Desmond said not to bother, he didn't think it was worthwhile. Why would Charlie just blindly inject himself with something, when he didn't even know what it was? Must be the drug addict in him....
