Rumoonig... The plane mentioned above is from the discussion we are having about where Penny's monitoring station is. Right now it is between the arctic and a plane. Becuase the people were bundled and there was whitish winds whipping outside the window.

Queen, a lot of problems would be solved if someone just said something to the other. Sawyer closed the gap between him and Jack when he finally told of his meeting with his father. More realizations will happen I think, as the course of the show goes on, and each will lead to a deeper understanding of their circumstances.

Exactly Cablerunner!!! I've been saying this since Season One! Somebody call a group meeting and everyone huddle on the beach by the fire and tell what's been going on with themselves and what they've seen for the day. On a scary, mysterious island with polar bears and cables coming up out of the ocean, hatches with lotto numbers on them, pregnant lady-stealers, herion-filled virgin mary statues from Africa, glow-in-the-dark maps, food drops, new washers and dryers,boat docks, four-toed colossus, notebooks full of monitering notes lying in piles in the middle of the jungle, 16 year old sos messages, ships in the middle of the jungle with dynamite, jack's dad's empty coffin, dolls strewn about the cave, tonka trucks, a glass eye, the purple sky, adam and eve skeletons with black and white rocks, kate's horse, etc......... I would think there would be plenty of fodder for conversation.

BUUUTTT, the the show would probably be over, that's wat I forgot to add. Most shows are like that, never talk about the problem, it gets worse.... Benmer, is that script writing 102 or something.

However, and trust me, it's far fetched, but scientists now say there are up to 11 dimensions. What if the charlie Des saw on the street is not the same charlie who is on the island. I know it's sounds crazy, but it would explain a lot. Des saw our Jack, but he may have only found him on one reality. Des has used up several of his selves in the different dimensions, and may just get it right when he leaves this island.
There was a movie with jet Li where one dimensions Jet Li was going around killing all his other selves to become powerful, perhaps the writers took some of that idea.

What always bothered me was season 2, can't remember the show right now, but Ben(Henry at the time) said that "God doesn't know we are here" that kind of quote, I believe, is what the writers are hoping we miss in it's hugeness to the theme. Not that we miss it, but that we miss it's significance.

They were probably referring to the earlier EMP surge caused by Desmond's slowness in hitting the button, which caused the plane to crash. It was a shorter surge, so they probably didn't get the coordinates in time.

Can't have that, I really need the show. I can't watch the Science channel all night and day. I believe the final season, the Losties will sit and have a palaver(google that, or wiki it) and that will be the beginning of the end of the show.(in a good way)
