Sun-Hwa Kwon

Sun-Hwa Kwon (née Paik ?) (Revised Romanization of Korean (RR): Baek Seon-hwa, McCune-Reischauer (MR): Paek So(n'hwa) is one of the middle section survivors of the crash of Oceanic Flight 815. She was traveling on the plane with her husband, Jin-Soo Kwon. Their marriage has been very unstable, on and off the island, mainly due to Jin's controlling and violent nature and also because of Sun's many secrets that she will go to great lengths to protect even if it involves hurting others e.g. the maid in "The Glass Ballerina". She is currently pregnant with Jin's child, and according to Juliet the pregnancy will kill her in two months like every other pregnant woman who conceived on the island.

He was blasted into the past this still doesnt describe why he knows the future. Can anyone clear this up for me?

Well as far as I can tell after he turned the key he was knocked out and his life flashed before his eyes and all of it took place in like a dream state of mind... Merging on island and off island together.. He said to Charlie at the end his life flashed before his eyes... Then said no matter how hard he tries Charlie is going to die because you can not change Fate.

Locke was right above desmond. literally on the floor above his head. So that doesnt make sense. ecko was in the hatch too....

Yes... the phnomenon movie was about that. He didnt get thrown into the past....

As far as Des asking charlie if he remembers hm from the day on the street... maybe that will happen later when charlie dies... or is on his death bed.

if you can't change fate (which Charlie wrote on the tape on his fingers in season one) why does Desmond keep saving his life then? Why not just let him fulfill his fate? Is there some "Groundhog Day" thing going on here?

are you sure he didnt accidently kill him.... i mean he was full of confusion and anger at that point...


and besides... i dont know how he could have saved him after the head wound happened

They were in a plane,(check the tape) and the physicist was told by Desmond what happened so when Penny wanted to find her true love she questioned all of their friends.
Desmond told Mr. Whitmore that they had been together for TWO years. I am sure that they had the same friends.

benmer - even if he ACCIDENTALLY killed him, he still let him die. He didn't try at all.

There was not anything he could do, not being a medical professional and all. Besides, he had to get back to the hatch so he may save the world.
