Charlie Hieronymus Pace
Charlie Hieronymus Pace was a survivor from the middle section of Oceanic 815. Before the crash, Charlie was the bassist and main songwriter for the rock band Driveshaft. When Flight 815 crashed, Charlie was snorting heroin in one of the plane's bathrooms. Charlie's drug addiction and crippling self-doubt were the biggest obstacles in his life. Like many of the Losties, the crash provided Charlie with a fresh start. On the Island, Charlie formed a relationship with Claire Littleton and her son Aaron.
After avoiding deaths foreseen by Desmond several times, Charlie finally died willingly to save the other survivors. He drowned on day 93, and his death is yet unknown to anyone except Desmond.

Well, if you are talking about the end of the series, I think that we'll see the rescue boat and they won't have shown us the island yet, and when they do Vincent will be the only one left.
Kinda grim, cause that would mean they're all dead...sad.
They could all be rescued and become millionaires for surviving together on this wacky island.
They would all write books giving detailed descriptions about "Life on Craphole Island", as Shannon put it. (:

Here's the thing I see, and I think it will tie in with the Lost experience. No one on the island can get back to the real world unless Penelope can get an army together to get Desmond and incidentally whoever is left living out. If the others still maintain contact with the outside world, no one will be allowed out until the experiment is done, and by then, they really won't be the same people that went to the island. If the others aren't in contact, and can't get out themselves, then it will take a miracle for the losties to escape.
The key is Desmond. Locke can't really be a true leader, which is why he cries, and asks for help... now. Jack is a true leader, right or wrong he demands you follow his course of action. Locke needs to tteam with desmond, for who better to plan then one who can see the result.
I think by the end of lost, a lot of who we are familiar with and love on the show will be dead(either by story or wanting off the show, or DUI's) and the ones who will be allowed to leave or are rescued will never speak of what happened.

good point... micheal still needs to screw more things up. I see it ending like this exactly... Micheal being the extreme D-bag he is, tries to make out with Penny, Suceeds.. Somehow Psychic Desmond sees this in his minds eye and begins the hunt for the others AND HIS BOAT.
He leaves on the boat after he and locke save our heroes... and we follow him ff the island on the boat.
Return in 20 years to the island. The only survibvors are Jack, Kate, their child ( who can magically float) , smokey, PB the polar bear, Mr Boar, Saywer, NIkki (paulo is lost to a Bull, so sawyer swoops in), Yemi's ghost, Ecko's Ghost, Locke's GHost, Sayid and Hurley's Ghosts...
pretty much an ending like return of the Jedi

1. Here name is Penny
2. I would feel so bad for Des, and hate Michael even more.
3. Penny should not have said I'll wait for you always if she didn't mean it.

The Ultimate Answer to How Lost Will End!
Nah, you're all way off base. It's going to be like this:
Five minutes to the end of the show. The group struggles against the Others, who are chasing them all through the jungle and doing God knows what to the ones they catch. Blood, fire, screams, it's total chaos worthy of a Spielberg production.
CUT TO:
Eyes open.
A beautiful day in rural America. Benry gets out of bed, goes to the window, it's an ordinary day - but all is not normal. The postman delivering mail is Desmond, a police officer driving by looks just like Jack, the milkman...LOCKE?...what's going on? And who told that neighbor who looks like Hurley that wearing a speedo while you mow the lawn was a good idea? This reeks entirely of a bad Twilight Zone episode.
Benry goes into the bathroom but is shocked when he realizes the shower is running and the curtain is closed. Someone's in there. He pulls the curtain open and...it's Kate! What the hell, this just keeps getting stranger and stranger...like a bad B movie.
He asks her "What just happened? What happened to the Island? Who lived, who died? What about Dharma? Were they all just stoned hippies or what?"
She smiles. "That was all just a dream, darling. Now go get dressed for work, and remember, there's no place like home...there's no place like home...there's no place like home..."
Benry screams.
THE END

Frank: No, the worst.

And then Kate says: "you know henry.. I have got a thing for Dead guys.."
and then she pulls out her trust switchblade and stabs him.
Henry Gale wakes up. He is still in the Losties Hatch..., but this time Kelvin is there with Desmond.
OR.
Henry Gale wakes up and His operator takes the Link out of the back of his head. ( like in the MATRIX ) He sits up and says " I know kung fu...."
