Who's Jacob?

In "I Do" before Sawyer is about to get exectuted, that guy that wants to kill Sawyer said something like "He wasn't even on Jacobs list. Who the heck is Jacob?

Yeah, it's been killing me. I thought i misheard the name when it was said but i guess i wasn't hearing things. I'm sure we will find out soon enough..

It's someone that was sent to the lost camp after Ethan and Goodwin failed too. I think he was sent after the hunting party scene. They found out that Jack, Sawyer and Kate can be useful. Since Sawyer was seen to be angry. They knew that Jack and Sawyer have some romantic intentions toward her. All about the love. Thanks to Jacob who reported back, and quite possibly sent to the lost camp to scout out more possible suspects. So Ben sent himself to find Jacob, but decided to play with Locke's mind because he is a man of faith, thinking he was after him. Ben failed to find Jacob and ran off thanks to Micheal.

Thats a nice theory.
I dont think Henry Gale would have gone himself to find Jacob though. I mean he does have cancer, and who knows if any pain associated with it. but i could care less about Henry Gale's pain. He is the leader bean of the group and i would assume he would send any number of his other cronies.

BUT i always think that he wanted to get cuaght and infiltrate the group. Since He knew he already had Walt. He knew that he would eventually be dealt back to his group.

I think that the cancer in henry Gale's back could be the smoke monster. it sleeps there... in his spine... whe jack tries to remove it... Henry Gale finaly dies.. ( we all celebrate)...

yeah, it all makes sense.

As I've said in several different posts, I am certain that Jacob will prove to the Patchy from the video in The Pearl, and that he is in either direct control of Smokey the Monster or is in charge of its maintenance.
