Claire Littleton

Claire Littleton is one of the middle section survivors of Oceanic Flight 815. She is Jack Shephard's half-sister, although neither of them knows this. She is the mother of Aaron Littleton who was born on the Island soon after the crash, and has done her best to raise Aaron. During her time on the Island, she entered a relationship with fellow survivor, Charlie Pace.

Default "What" happened to Ben's plan?!?!?!
Says to Jack: "When you saw that X-ray, it shot my plans all to light".

Shot all to LIGHT? What the 'hell' does that mean????

What, he's the Devil, and his plans are already in Hell???

Ben is a very good liar. He trys to manipulate people. My guess is that there are a lot of issues between Ben and Juliet. It just seems theres some tension there ever since we heard him say "Well i guess i'm out of the book club".

Well the plan was to get Jack to want to do the surgery, but now he will be forced to do it.

I just took the phrase to be a variation of "brought to light" meaning revealed.

I agree, I think that Ben merely meant that his plan had been 'brought to light', but because it happened quickly (Jack only saw some X-rays and he knew) rather than it being deduced over a long period of time, Ben chose to say "shot to light", to emphasise how quickly his plans were exposed.

And yes, Ben is very good at manipulating people. As for his issues with Juliet, I suspect that although the 2 of them may once have been in a relationship it's more of a leadership issue.

I think he gained a ruthless reputation from the things he may have done in the past and so The Others looked up to with respect, but Juliet, thinking that Ben wouldn't ever hurt her because of their relationship, isn't afraid of him and thus dislikes the concept of him as a leader when she wants their society to be based upon free will.
