I've read somewhere on one of the Lost sites that there was a scene that was edited out in season one between Sayid and Danielle where Sayid asks Danielle what her scientific research team was studying. Danielle responds, "time." It was editted out of the episode, but if it was true that would give more credence to the whole Desmond/time travel theory. I don't want to believe they are time travelling, but it does seem Desmond has some intuitiveness since the purple sky, knowing about John's "speech" and the lightning strike stc... What's the deal? Does anyone know if this script edit is a fact? If someone has already addressed this - sorry - I tried to scour the site to see if there was a post about the script edit, but couldn't find any. Direct me there if there is. Thanks.

No, i dont think we have discussed this before... dont know anything about it to be exact.. i havent heard or read about that scene.

I take it that this edited-out scene wasn't part of the additional features on the last disk of the Season 1 DVD set. I just watched all the deleted scenes on that disk a week or so ago and didn't see anything like this.
