Ana-Lucia Cortez

Ana-Lucia Cortez was an ex-police officer who sat in the tail section of Flight 815 when it crashed. She took a leadership role in the group and led her party across the Island, reuniting them with the rest of the passengers. Ana was known to be very emotionally cold and her background in policing helped her with her leadership role. Ana-Lucia survived on the Island for 65 days before being shot and killed by Michael.

Maybe they aren't considered good because it's an interracial marriage... kinda of Nazi-ish. BTW, did anybody notice the black woman in the foreground during the tailies plane crash scene last night? I thought she looked ALOT like Rose.

She did seem very persistent that her husban was still alive, this could be just because she didn't want to own up to her husband's death, or because she REALLY knew he was alive somehow.

Another thing with the others i dont understand. Is it 2 groups of "others"?
I think there may be since, for the length of time they have lived on the island why arent they gathering in the hatch? Food, guns ect can all be found there. One group is definetly survivalists, trackers and only live on the land. I dont think we have met the other group yet.
Question for all. How large do you guys think the island is?
We havent seen from the islands security system in a while or the polar bear, I hope they spin one of the 2, (preferably the security system) in to the story again soon because I realllllllllllly want to figure that small piece of the puzzle out. Especially the metal sound and what the hell it was.

Just throwing this out there:

There was a thread: CONSTELLATIONS and in it the person talked about six stations...the possible seventh (the motherboard, the head station: being Apollo since all of the pictures actually make up the six constellations of Apollo...

What if the others are living in apollo which is located in the dark territory in the center of the island and is being protected by the security system...since we haven't walked through the ceter of the island -- no security system.

what do you think?
