Why were Jack , Kate , Sawyer taken ?

I think I know why Jack , Kate and Sawyer were taken . First , why weren't any of the other losties taken ? It is safe to say that the "good" ones were not taken or Echo , Rose and Locke ( since I'm the only one here that doesn't think Locke is good) would have been taken and Sawyer and Kate would not have been . Then if they wanted those that posed the biggest threat to them , Saied and Locke would have been included .

Therefore , I think Jack , Kate and Sawyer were taken B/C the others still want an infant when it is first born and they have been watching the group and know that Kate is attracted to both Jack and Sawyer and believe that she could/would be with either one of these two men and possibly conceive a baby that they could have and do what ever they intended to do with Claire's unborn child . I wondered why they didn't just steal Aaron later , but now I'm pretty sure they only want an infant , pure or uninfected or whatever ............... any comments ?

Well I think they still want Aaron nevertheless, pushing him out of the picture next year would be very silly after they hyped up how special he was last year.

But yes, maybe another baby.

The only big relationship i saw between all the people taken, was that all 5 of them were the only people to actualy see libby and anna dead, and were the only ones to see that HH had escaped.

Yes , but HH let Hurley go , said he was allowed to go back to tell the losties to not come there . So , that means Hurley knows about Michael killing the girls , but the others don't really care who else knows . Hurley is being their messenger for whatever reason....................

I still don't understand the reasoning behind kidnapping Hurley, only to let him go and tell his friends to never come here...he knows how to get there, isn't it risky to think he won't come back with help?

They could've just sent a messenger...

The only reason Hurley came in the first place was that he thought Gale was responsible for killing Libby. Even if he tells the rest of the Losties what happened, he doesn't seem likely to want to organize a rescue for Jack, Kate and Sawyer, especially since Jack nodded to him to go back as he was told. I doubt that Jack expects Hurley to come roaring back with the rest of the Losties to rescue them. Sayed and Jin might get up an infiltration raid (maybe using the boat again) but there won't be an all out war.

Actually...I think Ms 'Bea' said the Hurley's "job" was to go back to the camp etc...seeing that they didnt hit him w/ the dart...it's as tho he's "working" for them?

Hurley was on the list that Michael had of those he was to bring back .

also , about my theory about the others wanting another newborn , there is Sun , being already pregnant ..... but then only Jack , Jin and Kate know so far , right ? ...... And there she is , out there , close by with Jin and Saied . I don't know , seemed possible . the Kate ,Jack and Sawyer triangle ..... What other reason for just wanting the three of them ?

I believe Sawyer and Saheed(Dont know how to spell his name) Are the most threatening on the Island.
