Why were Jack , Kate , Sawyer taken ? - Page 5

So they took the three most popular, "pretty" characters. Whatever their reason they knew it would keep the audience attending!

Personally, I think their gonna do this "6 months later...__x__ straggles into camp" thing and have more flashbacks as to what happened to those left with the others. It will just allow for more stories/memories to have time pass by for us. Plus Aaron could be a bit older, Sun could be bigger, Charlie and Claire could be married... and the losties could be in chaos without a confident leader.

i think that it is possible that the others want jack, kate, and sawyer to join them. i know it sounds crazy but hey its a theory. they say they are the good guys right maybe they need to keep the cause alive and get others to help.

or maybe they are just the biggest threat. but if so what about sayid? he almost built a radio, he has army training, and he is capable of killing.

Sayid even told Henry Gale he was a torturer.

true, very true. Sayid is one man, yes capable of killing. But he's no one man army.

I think Sayid is the least of their worries.

I think Henry Gale wants Locke to be the new leader of the Losties or even to be his right-hand man with the Others!

Hurley will bump into Danielle on his way back to his camp and will tell her what happened. Danielle will be on a mission in the first 6/7 episodes of series 3!

What puzzles me is why doesn't the Others want Sayid, Eko, or even Locke for that matter? {if it's 'cos of leadership that is?}.

Possibilities:

1. Jack, Sawyer, Kate and Hurley have all seen things on the island.

2. Leadership; Jack's the current Lostie Leader, Sawyer has been kind of a leader. Since Henry knew about Desmond turning the safe key, maybe he knew from a contact/spy that Locke was still in the swan hatch and that he may die? That's why Locke wasn't on Michael's List?

3. Could be a completely different reason they want Jack, Kate and Sawyer?

I personally thought Jack wasnn't that good leader, why... cos? What Sayid told Jack about Michael on the day of Libby's and Ana-Lucia's funeral, Jack didn't know what to do next, etc. Both Sayid and Locke are much better leaders than Jack is and we all know it!

OK,the others tried to take Mr.Eco,and lost two men....(that's why Eco wondn't talk for 40 days)...think they tried to take AL also,and lost that person..so that means Eco is someone of intrest,or they didn't know what/who they wer dealing with

i think that they took jack, kate, and sawyer because... ethan was a doctor and now he is dead so they need another doctor wich is going to be jack and the only reason kate and sawyer were took is because they are both criminals.
