Benjamin "Ben" Linus

Benjamin "Ben" Linus is the leader of the Others on the Island. Ben arrived on the Island as a child, brought by his father Roger to work for the DHARMA Initiative. Ben takes orders from Jacob, and is the only person who visits and speaks with him. Ben's apparent goal is to keep the Island and its special properties secret from the outside world, and he goes to great lengths to achieve this.

Maybe they just need a doctor. I mean did you see the pictures of the others feet(in the 'Toe'tally wild! post). Thats some serious jungle rot hehe

That leaves kate and sawyer to procreate

Hope you guys don't mind if I join the discussion. If I'm not mistaken Jin knows Sun is pregnant, although, I'm not quit sure by who because Jin had a vasectomy in Korea. He didn't seem to be upset when she told him.
I believe the ONLY reason Hurley was brought along was so that he could go back and tell the losties to stay away and not to try to rescue Kate, Jack and Sawyer.

'Cept they shot Sawyer on the raft and left him to serve as shark food...as far as the Others are concerned he was expendable...so they must be saving Kate for Alex...(who seems to be responding).

Yeah, but Hurley's a goof, a lovable goof. He could'nt even find the secluded beach when he went for the picnic with libby. Can the others trust the he would really make it back on his own. Sayid is, IMHO, a BAMF but could he and Jin form a substantial rescue party?

Ok if Ecko is alive still, that makes two of them. And if locke is alive he is injured, shaken and scared.
(because of his leg and his idea of "fate" being attacked. And the possible new injuries each of them might have inccured)

Yeah they shot him, was not a leathal shot though. Sawyer did pull a gun.
They were close enough that they could have placed a head shot, but at bare minimum they could have placed a bullet at center mass on Sawyer.

You could also say they left Micheal, jin for shark food too. Did he others really think they would make it back? I dunno. And now they are supposedly "cool" wth mcheal?

Yes i realize theres more to this... sorry.... now im rambling.

Could go either way, however I disbelieve they attempted to take his life.
