my theory

Who in the past history of the Earth did the most extensive human testing to date???
I cemented my theory after visiting "the hanso foundation" site. Look at the picture of Alvar Hanso. Notice anything different about it? It is old and in black and white and his face is obscured just enough so that you cannot make out his features. If you read his bio,it says that he first was known for selling munitions around ww2. How old would that make him? Well, that was 65 years ago, and if he was 20 that would mak him 85. How many 20 year olds have the power to sell munitions? Lets say he was thirty, which makes him 95...and still running the company(hint; he is alive and on the island...benefitting from the age defying effects of the isle)

Now, look at the Hanso logo?...does it look vaguely familiar? kinda like a certain haircut? Put a little mustache under it and who does it look like?

My theory? Alvar Hanso is Adolf Hitler.

Look at he picture of him in the website and do the math. The anti aging experiments must have been going on for at least 40 years to produce a 105 year old Orangutang...their life expectancy is around 50.

Furthermore, This furthers the "faith vs, reason" theme.

I just have a hard time believeing they would use hitler in any means in the show!!!

They do have the same initials...this kinda sounds like my theory too, bench. Glad to know I'm not alone.

I would like to think an old WW2 ship or sub came to the island and they became stranded and are now possibly the others.

What I meant above was don't you think it wouldn't be PC enough? I know there are things like pointed out above- I dunno...

Thats exactly what I said, that WW2 soldiers got stranded on the island, and they are the others, but they dont age for some reason, I think that theory makes alot of sence because remember when that guy nathan had that WW2 knife, what was that about?

That would be so lame if he's Hitler, it's funny to think about though. It makes me think of some bad comic book. Captain America vs. CyberHitler! What makes you think Hanso is still alive? Yeah his corporation still exists, but it doesn't mean he's alive unless there's some evidence I missed. Besides, I don't think Hitler would be selling munitions during WWII. And it's hard to be the most notorious person in history and pass yourself off as a peaceful businessman.

Yeah, besides, hitler comitted suicide, so that wouldn't make any sence... unless that suicide was his stunt double!

I like some of these ideas. Maybe Alvar Hanso isn't Hitler. Maybe he is. But besides that I like the whole idea with this having to do with WW2. Something has to be taken from that to make this whole story work.
