Also, on the Hanso Page, when i click on the RSS link on the bottom i get this..

any ideas?

when i checked out the board of directors, i got a liddy wales profile, and it allows you to log into something, i tried her name, but it wont let me punch in a password, so i pressed tab twice and it lit up a small yellow box on the bottome left hand corner of the page, and when i click that, the 3 orbs of green light move....still havent found out what this means though

I emailed the info@thehansofoundation.org to enquire about one of their positions. Here is the email I sent:

"Dear Sir or Madam,

I am interested in hearing more about your personal assistant position. I have been a personal assistant to several people at my current organization for years. I am moving, however and have to quit. I am locating to New York and saw that this position requires travel to and from New York. I have experience working in both non-profit organizations as well as educational and medical institutions. I have a working knowledge of several computer programs and software as well as familiarity with Macintosh computers and Personal Computers.

First of all, it looks like we have some new players, so welcome everyone

I was attempting to keep a list of all the clues - it's the sticky thread at the top of this forum - but I am sadly behind. Some of the posts in this thread are referring to earlier clues. I'm at work now and am so busy I shouldn't even be out here (shhh....don't tell anyone), so I'm going to refer this site:

These guys have done a great job of posting and archiving all the clues so far. For those of you who are just starting (and you don't mind spoilers to the game), it's a great way to get caught up.

Here are some posts that refer to clues that took place before last night. The clues still work and I would still try to follow them - it's fun.

This one happened last night - I think it was just because they were trying to update the Hanso site and some funky things were going on for awhile.

One more thing: I've read where there are some clues that you have to do (like signing up for the newsletter) in order to be able to see/get to the next clue. Check that blog site I posted. I think it tells you there.

anyone know how whats wrong? it seems as if you don't need a username, just a pw. the pw field is in a different font than the username. the same font that the passwords are always in.

(not the other way around)

So had anyone been able to use this password? BTW, I think user names will be limited to 8 characters based on the files listed from:

I used jvanderf (who is not listed in above link) with the password and did not get anywhere. Did anyone else figure this out?

I think there are several ways to get the password to work. I didn't have to do this (last night), but I found this on another site:

I didn't know about the hidden link on the job descriptions page. I was able to go out to the Hanso site and go to the Board of Directors page. I then used 'dcheever' as my login and Inmate Asylum as the password. After I read your post, I tried to do it again (I'm on my work PC, last night I was at home) and it wouldn't let me enter a password. I think it's because as you work through some of the clues, it has put a small, harmless cache file on your computer and it's keeping track of where you're at in the game (I'll try to find the board where I saw that explained and get a better description).

GOT IT!!!! You have to go through the Hanso Careers website in order to get Inmate Asylum to work. Check out the bottom of the job descriptions, there is a link back to the Hanso Bio's sight. Once you go through here, go to Jacob Vanderfields or Lawrence Peck password line and type in Inmate Asylum. FINALLY! Something new! I'll have screen shots later today of what is there.
