 Kate Austen
Kate Austen is one of the middle section survivors of Oceanic Flight 815. Kate is a fugitive, and was being pursued by Marshal Mars prior to the flight, for blowing up her father. Kate had been captured in Australia and was being escorted back to the United States before the crash. Kate has always seemed to run away from her past. Even on the Island, Kate exhibits a kind of evasive behavior to escape from her problems. Kate, when on the run, always had good intentions and never did any outright harm or killings to anybody, she believed she was doing things for the greater benefit of others. This view is prominently connected with her actions of her father's murder - she believed she was relieving her mother from his abusive presence. Kate is strong-willed, useful and clever, but dislikes being alone and is usually level-headed.
She has escaped from the captivity of the Others with Sawyer, and has formed an ambiguous romantic relationship with him, despite still being unsure about her feelings for Jack.

The Lost Dutch Girl ;)
Hi!
Now why didn't they put a Dutch girl on the Island hm?
Perhaps it is coming in upcoming seasons.... *wink*
My name is Gaëlle, nice to find a message board dedicated to Lost, I have gotten so ... addicted to Lost!!! It all started with an 'accident', I stumbled upon a 1/2 season dvd pack (of season II) laying around the place where I used to live with friends, a note on it to me, that I should give it a try... on a cold bored night, I did indeed give it a try, and it started at the beginning of season 2, but I immediately could not stand knowing what happened beforehand! So I went to find the entire first season, and ended up dragging my mother into the addiction too! This was... a year ago?
Tonight we finished the entire third season, we started Monday, and now it's Wednesday night, and we're through  excited yet sad that it's over, I won't mention what I thought of the ending of the third season, because I realise that might be a spoiler to those who have not seen it yet!
The most adoration as far as it comes for cast members, I have for Desmond  because of his story, and because, oh well... he just really is my type haha! But I think all characters and storylines have been developed extremely well and with great care, I have never been into television shows, at all, but this completely has me in it's grasp!
The funny thing is, my favorite band (that is actually alive and still playing), is MUSE, and in an interview I read that the frontman of Muse, (Talented mr Bellamy, who is an absolutely rock god) when he is not touring, locks himself up at home and watches Lost compulsively hehe
Well, that was a lot of talk, and not so much about me.
A short bit on myself then...
Born and raised in Holland, France & Spain. Currently inbetween study and traveling... just got back from Australia, Spain, Greece and France, on my way to the British Virgin Islands, and the U.S.A with Christmas and Newyears, then heading back to France, Paris specifically, to study French...
I love cinema, reading, writing, Roman Polanski, Anaïs Nin... Jim Morrison, Love, Airports, Freedom, Keeping animals alive, Traveling (in case you didn't notice yet hihi), and plenty of things, but I suppose i'll keep it at this, if you made it through all the way, thank you for reading 
Enjoy your Lost experience, I can't wait for season four!!! |

Didn't know Matt was a fan, but I suppose I should have guessed as much. When it comes to conspiracies, mythology, and mysteries I hear he's totally obsessed. We'd probably get along pretty well...
