Johnathan "John" Locke
Johnathan "John" Locke is one of the middle section survivors of Oceanic Flight 815. His paralysis was immediately healed upon crashing on the Island, which has ultimately led him to believe he has some sort of special connection to the Island. He is sometimes shown in antithesis to Benjamin Linus, sharing several traits including the ability to commune with Jacob. Seen as antithetical to Jack Shephard, he and Jack are philosophical opposites and used to share leadership among the survivors, but now seems to be creating his own agenda for his actions on the Island and has broken off from the survivors.

The numbers, 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42 add up to 108 - the duration between number resets. The reset alarm happens at 4 minutes from 0. Makes me wonder if there are other things happening at 8 minutes, 15, 16, 23, 42 minutes prior to 0. Maybe the machinery is starting some sequence at those times and if the numbers are not entered ...
About the satellite remark made above...satellite orbital time is entirely dependent on altitude of the satellite.

If you go to www.oceanic-air.com and click on the green 'find' button, there's a seating chart. start clicking around on it and survivors' names and seat numbers will start popping up, along with some "other stuff." Start with 42F...
It's kind of a cool site to play with if you've never seen it before.

Jackie Robinson did not play for the Yankees . I hate the evil empire but I still know who played for them.
