Okay, this is just one of those things that bugs me and I wonder what other people think...

How are the producers of LOST going to handle the fact that any children on the island are going to grow up much faster than they should given the story timeline? For seasons 1 and 2, I think the ratio is about 45 days of time in the show to each year in real life.

I bet the actor playing Walt has grown a few inches since the show began. And baby Aaron is going to be a two year old by the third month on the island. They can probably swap out the baby a few times and get away with it, but Walt? Do you think Walt may have to die just to keep the actor from outgrowing the role?

Maybe Walt will be accounted for by not showing up for a long time, but when he does he will be way older, and everyone will be saying "how did he grow up so fast?".

I have heard that walt is not comming back because his voice has changed and he is really tall now. you know he was a, like 13 year old playing a 10 year old.

There have been kid stars for as long as we have had t.v. I think that with a show as complicated and planed out as lost, They will have thought about Walt getting older. MAybe he will leave the show. Or maybe the injections we see them take will be their excuse for why he's grown so fast. Both Ethan an Goodwin seemed to be tall, strong men. We'll watch and see.

Maybe they'll just get a different actor and not say anything
like the 2nd Darrin on Bewitched ( for those of us old enough to remember)
or the 2nd Becky on Roseanne

And how about that switch/swap on the original Saved By the Bell? Jesse and Kelly were swapped for Tori and biker chick.

Maybe they will deal with it like they use to in one of those day time dramas. A deep voice will come on at the beginning and say "The part of Walt will be played by....." and that is the last they will say about it.
