Sun-Hwa Kwon
Sun-Hwa Kwon (née Paik ?) (Revised Romanization of Korean (RR): Baek Seon-hwa, McCune-Reischauer (MR): Paek So(n'hwa) is one of the middle section survivors of the crash of Oceanic Flight 815. She was traveling on the plane with her husband, Jin-Soo Kwon. Their marriage has been very unstable, on and off the island, mainly due to Jin's controlling and violent nature and also because of Sun's many secrets that she will go to great lengths to protect even if it involves hurting others e.g. the maid in "The Glass Ballerina". She is currently pregnant with Jin's child, and according to Juliet the pregnancy will kill her in two months like every other pregnant woman who conceived on the island.

Oh but they did know who was on the plane, there was a manifest. That being if you believe Oceanic Airlines is a dharma front.

If Dharma was in on the crash, they'd have had to have gotten together with Oceanic Airlines, right? So they could have printed his name onto the manifest.

It's a very interesting point...I always assumed that Ethan Rom was posing as Nathan Rome...so they didnt know EXACTLY who was on the plane, they had some kind of foul-up where Nathan Rome became Ethan Rom....bad intel?

I don't have any hesitation about saying that Dharma brought the plane down. I think it would be rather foolish to assume anything to the contrary at this point. However, I am not so sure that they had as much control over the situation as some of the theories are giving them credit for. If Dharma had that much control, then they get an "F" in efficiency.
Scientists routinely work with a control set, and a variable set. Everything is very purpose driven. It just seems like there are a lot of variables that could have been made to go more in Dharma's favor, presuming they are as controlling as we give them credit for.
.....just playing the Devil's Advocate here.
