Ana-Lucia Cortez

Ana-Lucia Cortez was an ex-police officer who sat in the tail section of Flight 815 when it crashed. She took a leadership role in the group and led her party across the Island, reuniting them with the rest of the passengers. Ana was known to be very emotionally cold and her background in policing helped her with her leadership role. Ana-Lucia survived on the Island for 65 days before being shot and killed by Michael.

Well...why would a brilliantly thought-out plan that actually recreated a plane crash leave behind a flight manifest????

why hadn't they just inserted Ethan's name on the manifest?
If Dharma was in on the crash, they'd have had to have gotten together with Oceanic Airlines, right? So they could have printed his name onto the manifest.

Maybe they didn't think the passengers would think that much...

The mobile played "Catche a Falling Star" which was what Claire had asked the adoptive parents to sing to the baby when she spoke to them on the phone. I got the feeling that was just her wishing that was the song she heard on the mobile... Again... she was drugged up pretty good.

Cutting the baby out... The doctors cut my second child out of me and I'm ok. It's a C-section. If that gal was Alex and had lived with the Others all 16 years and wasn't exposed to the outside world -- she wouldn't know what a c-section was, so it would seem a little barbarian without much explaination.

Again, just my 2ยข!
I agree - Who makes an airplane mobile? - and it just HAPPENED to have
the song Claire mentioned one time. That is a bit too much.

But why the rush to deliver? She had to be close - within days of delivering
naturally. A natural delivery is much better for the baby unless it
is in distress. I had 2 C-sections - one was an emergency
NO FUN. Did the girl helping Claire mention why they were taking
the baby so soon? I'll have to rewatch.

maybe they had not planned it to be Ethan, maybe it was supposed to be someone else at first.

Some people say that the plane crash was staged. They have some good reasoning behind it but i still don't buy it. If the producers of Lost wanted to support this theory they wouldnt have showed in "The Other 48 Days" the tail end of the plane smash into the water!

Just another if.....If Dharma was so powerful to control the plane crash, determine who lived and who died, and where the survivors were placed. Why not just have an inside man already on the plane. A legitimate crash survivor doesn't have to sneak into the group. He/She would already be on the manifest.

not every factor is under dharma's control.. sure they must of brought the plane there... but they didn't exactly KNOW who was going to be on it.. and where and how it was going to crash... they're not PERFECT.
