Many Meanings of LOST

There are many different ways to interpret the meaning of LOST -- many connotations if you will.....

I'm just making observations. I don't know if it has anything to do with anything. I just want to share.

LOST: They are all LOST geographically (that's a "well duh!" statement)

LOST: Many of the Lostaways have lost somebody special/close to them.
Jack: his wife divorced him
Locke: his mom and dad (basically) and "Helen"
Sawyer: mom and dad
Sayid: girlfriend
Anna Lucia: her unborn baby
Eko: his brother
etc. etc. etc.

LOST: Many of the Lostaways are lost emotionally/mentally and/or spiritually
Jack: has to deal with the demons of not living up to high
expectations -- of losing patients, etc.
Locke: getting suckered by is dad
Hurley: thinking the "numbers" are cursed and/or being on the psych
ward
Claire: struggling with what to do with her (then) unborn baby
Charlie: deals with drug problem and has fallen away from church
etc. etc. etc.

I know there are more examples. I had a whole bunch in my brain the other day when I thunk this up and I should have just posted then. But I didn't.

Lost is a great name for the show. There are examples of loss all through it. I think the writers have proven again and again they respect the veiwers I.Q.s and are willing to make this a muti leveled show, full of anagrams, links, duel meanings and connecting themes. That's one reason so many people are hooked.

I think everyone loves this show so, that it has been disected to the point people are seeing things that aren't there (no pun). I think it is just the title of the show.

Hear, hear!! I think there are some underlying meanings and mysteries to
to be solved. But some of these theories - esp. the ones that have Dharma manipulating these passengers lives for the past 30 years and maneuvering
each individual onto the island from thousands of miles away- are just
a little too detailed.

My only hope is that LOST will not refer to a great idea for the shows ending; rather than a slapped together one during its speeded up last season because ABC was to cheap to allow Abrahms to fashion a proper one.

Well, as long as they do not have to use theire Joop the monkey idea.

In case of cancellation, use Joop. That is what they said on a podcast.

I like in ROTS, when one of the other Senators gets angry at Jar-Jar. It was pretty.....for a nerd like myself that is.

I think that Joop would be less annoying as Mr.Binks was.
