Hi, I think it makes a good show because when it first came out in Season 1, there were no other shows really like it with the mix of sci-fi, adventure and drama. And the plot always keeps you guessing what is going to happen next. And the whole flashback technique is interesting..... and good characters,.......and, and, and......

Well I think it is a little bit of everything. For me it is interesting characters, mysterious storytelling, and great production value. It really is a team effort to make a great show, and I think a little bit of luck too. There have been several shows in the past that I thought were good and for whatever reason didn't make it past their first season.

Its the greatest show on television period. It BLOWS network television out of the water. And its because of the intricacy of the plot, the staunch and demanding portrayel and relationships of the characters. And its ability to leave you on the edge of your seat with riveting performances.
