Season Five Main Focus

Every season we have several characters who are the focus of the story. Out of the options, I would rather see Richard as I think he is the best source of information of both on and off island activities.

I gotta say Ben. Whether you love him or hate him, I think most would agree that Ben has all the answers. I am sure Richard does too, but for whatever reason, Richard seems to be a follower and Ben is a leader.

Jacob and the island seem to be one in the same, I would like to see more focus or attention given to both Jacob and the island but I think any info we get on them will continue to be through other characters.

Anyways... Ben is the man with the plan, and I might not always agree with his actions, but I want to know more about him.

Locke's leadership and how he manages it. I'm hoping we'll get to see some of the life back on the island as the 5th season focuses on the life outside for O6.

I think the main focus will be on the losties who made it off the island and Jack's need to get back.

richard's tale is LONG overdue. and i believe it's because his story will fill in many blanks. i honestly believe that we will find out ultimately that ben has less influence and power than richard does.

Yes! I am totally excited to find out more about Richard! I am afraid we might have to wait until Season 6. Hopefully not!

I agree Richard's story is long over due and I definitely want to know who he is. I get the feeling though that we might find out that Richard isn't really all that special. Instead he is just one of the group of original "hostiles". I think it is weird that Ben is the leader. It seems obvious that Richard is older and has just as much if not more experience and knowledge that Ben does. Of course I guess the "others" leaders are choosen not elected so experience and knowledge may not count for much. Anyways I do want know about Richard, but I think his backstory will very interesting but also anticlimatic because he seems to be not much more than just one of the gang.

What about Rousseau? Who is lying and who is telling the truth? Or maybe it is better to ask who thinks they are telling the truth and who knows they are lying.
Rousseau's true backstory is long over due too, actually longer because she has been around since season 1 and Richard didn't make an appearance until season 3.

I've heard a lot of great theorys about Richard Alpert recently. I don't remember where I heard them or saw them, might even have been on this site. I've heard that he was the first mate on the black rock, and he was the one who wrote the diary that Widmore purchased in "The Constant". I've also heard that the reason he doesn't age is because he has found the fountain of youth which is apparently on the island. I don't know much about this fountain but if someone could enlighten me that would be awesome. But the one theory I really like comes from a woman who asked about it at the Comic Con panel this year, and the question was how many toes does Richard Alpert have. when asked about this Lindelof tried to play it off all cool but might've hinted that this woman was on the right track to finding out more about the four toed statue.

I voted for Richard because I bet we can get info about Ben, The Island, and Jacob though some of his story..

As far as Jacob and the Island being the same, here is what I meant. Jabob story will be flashbacks of his childhood or life prior to the Island. It will address questions like did he have any special powers? Did somone visit him like Richard visited Locke? etc. The Island will explain the properties it has. Questions addressed are Does it have heeling powers? Can one really use its powers to tim travel? How and why the Island can move?

I know explaining one story involves telling part of someone elses story but there is always a main focus and that is the question I am asking.
